Membership is open to any woman who is interested in the promotion of fellowship among women through community service and social activities. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at Brusch Hall on Main Street (located directly behind the Brookline Chapel on Main Street). Annual membership dues are $30 ($15 for seniors).
We are looking for new faces and fresh ideas. We plan to add a new Halloween event this year. We will also continue with town favorites like Breakfast with Santa and What Women Want Marketplace. We would love to hear your ideas!
We also host Ladies Nights. These are purely social and just for fun! Past events have included Paint and Sip, Bowling, Target Practice, Wine Tasting.
Our past events include Breakfast with Santa, Easter Egg Hunt, Blueberry Bash, snack bar for the Town Hall Meeting, and both the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Holiday Gift Collection for SHARE, just to name a few. Proceeds from the fundraisers go directly back to the town and local communities and have been used in the past to fund our annual college scholarship and purchase items such as the community message board, a chest freezer for the town food pantry, a hand carved sign for the covered bridge, playground equipment at the Brookline Ball Field and Welcome to Brookline” signs, just to name a few. The club has also provided donations to the town welfare officer for fuel assistance, the Brookline Police and Fire Departments, the Brookline Public Library, Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, Jordan’s Walk and many other great local causes.
So, won’t you become a member of the Brookline Women’s Club and help us continue to serve the town of Brookline and local charitable causes? New members are welcome at any time throughout the year. We hope you will join us and come see what we’re all about.
